Scotty was kind, thoughtful, loving, and full of energy. Skiing was his greatest passion, and in the off-season he loved skateboarding with his friends. After school in Tahoe City, kids would gather to skate, but there wasn’t — and still isn’t — a dedicated place for them to go. Scotty dreamed of starting a petition to build a skatepark for the community.
After he tragically passed away in a ski accident in February 2022, his family chose to carry forward his vision and work to build the skatepark he had imagined for Tahoe’s community.
