Scotty Lapp Memorial Skatepark among 7 TOT funded projects

The board approved $400,000 to the Scotty Lapp Foundation for a memorial skatepark in honor of the local teenager who died in 2022 in a ski accident. The project celebrates Lapp’s love of skateboarding with a 10,000 square-foot concrete skatepark, expected to undergo construction next summer. The skatepark will replace the existing dog park on Grove Street in Tahoe City.
